When Jude Bellingham fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Puturoasa's protests and gave Jude Bellingham a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, UFC Puturoasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jude Bellingham to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Ronaldo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Ronaldo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 21st minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. Cristian Ronaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Grimalschi. Anton Grimalschi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 30thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UFC Puturoasa's Anton Grimalschi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the UFC Puturoasa defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Grimalschi. The UFC Puturoasa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Grimalschi should have stopped the shot. The supporters of UFC Puturoasa booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Grimalschi having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when UFC Puturoasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Ronaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Anton Grimalschi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Grimalschi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho scored 1-6 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Grimalschi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Anton Grimalschi to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Dobândã in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UFC Puturoasa's Anton Grimalschi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save UFC Puturoasa from getting a goal against them. When Sergiu Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Puturoasa's protests and gave Sergiu Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, UFC Puturoasa's Sergiu Ramos got a free kick in the 95th minute. The UFC Puturoasa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
