August Kungla might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. August Kungla ran back to his position shaking his head. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, Dinamo Soimu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Greblă to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Greblă in the 9th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Horia Poplăcean to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 19thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dinamo Soimu's Horia Poplăcean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgil Pintilie made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Valentin Greblă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinamo Soimu's Horia Poplăcean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Dinamo Soimu from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Horia Poplăcean in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Valentin Greblă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 39th minute of play forced Dinamo Soimu's goalkeeper Horia Poplăcean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Soimu's Xanti Gatnau. But to his dismay, Xanti Gatnau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xanti Gatnau was the one to do the kick off. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Xanti Gatnau scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 0-4. Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xanti Gatnau showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 54 minute of play. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinand Ipate in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Ferdinand Ipate kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Dinamo Soimu getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. August Kungla hit a great ball. Xanti Gatnau was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Dinamo Soimu's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 72 minutes into the match, Dinamo Soimu's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Horia Poplăcean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Ipate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Dinamo Soimu's Cazimir Nițu was substituted for Virgil Pintilie. 80 minutes into the game, Valentin Greblă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Valentin Greblă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Dinamo Soimu's Egil Lidman was substituted for Ferdinand Ipate. Valentín Carvallo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Soimu's Daniel Barbosu got a free kick in the 85th minute. The supporters of Dinamo Soimu booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Lucrețiu Grădinaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo Soimu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucrețiu Grădinaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Xanti Gatnau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 93rd match minute, Dinamo Soimu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Runcu to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dinamo Soimu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
