The TAJFUN Giszowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 23 minutes into the game, Arkadiusz Cielencki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TAJFUN Giszowiec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. In the 41st minute, one of TAJFUN Giszowiec:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TAJFUN Giszowiec. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Fernandino made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Fontirroig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Lato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
