Sebbe Goossens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Miguel Miralles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebbe Goossens. Fox Hunting Squad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Miralles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sebbe Goossens. In the 24th minute, Reinaert Jenken fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcos Cotilla, passed just outside the right post. After 45 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebbe Goossens was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Panama were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaert Jenken made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the game Dylan Sarmiento made a throw-in which Tomas Berganza played forward. After having played for 56 minutes, Miguel Miralles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Miralles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Berganza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tomas Berganza did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Sebbe Goossens 59 minutes into the match. In the 82nd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. Sebbe Goossens was a little too slow when Abraham Alguacil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-12. In the 87th minute, Abraham Alguacil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. In the 95th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebbe Goossens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
