In the 28th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. Panama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 95 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Panama players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
