With a left leg Turgut Talha saved Club Deportivo Español from getting behind. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Chayo in the 8th minute of the match. Turgut Talha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Deportivo Español's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anthony Bonelli in the 13th minute. A nice corner shot did that Anthony Bonelli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 15th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Deportivo Español were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anthony Bonelli took the corner. The corner ended in Anthony Bonelli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Turgut Talha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes in the game Vítor Carioca did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Flavio Botello. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Turgut Talha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 35th minute of the match. After 36 minutes Club Deportivo Español's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A throw-in in the 40th minute of the game was made by Anthony Bonelli with Flavio Botello as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 43rd minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 50th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turgut Talha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Español's Matias Chayo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Vacid Nefer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Vacid Nefer sent off a good shot on target. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Anthony Bonelli made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. Turgut Talha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turgut Talha came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Vacid Nefer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vacid Nefer in the 75th minute. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peru fully deserved thier win.
