The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Max Limont in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hexo Utd's goalkeeper Max Limont, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jamie Carragher made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Karl-Johan Wallin. After 11 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. After having played for 13 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Milagros Fraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Max Limont firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hexo Utd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Julian Murillo scored to the left of an out of position Max Limont, making the score, 1-0. The throw-in from Jamie Carragher in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mar Cheze in the 22nd minute of the match. Hexo Utd's Max Limont proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Hexo Utd from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Hexo Utd's Adolfo Brandão. But to his dismay, Adolfo Brandão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hexo Utd's attentive Denis Datcu managed to snatch the ball when Moises Gayoso made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mar Cheze, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Limont prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Hexo Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Max Limont quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Miglius Simonaitis hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Hexo Utd made a substitution. Jacek Bara replaced Anders Stenström. The supporters of Peru booed when Hexo Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Datcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Denis Datcu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Limont read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Peru's Rafael Gallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Max Limont made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 92nd minute Paulius Rožėnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulius Rožėnas struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hexo Utd.
