Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Toronto Marlies FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gerard Pique hit a great ball. Murilo Barros Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Bucur in the 13th minute of play forced Brazil's goalkeeper Heitor Paim Belluci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brazil's Diogo Paim Macedo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tracy Narcisse in the 14 minute of the game. Murilo Barros Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Anfilogino Amicone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anfilogino Amicone made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Murilo Barros Rosa sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the game, Brazil's Murilo Barros Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anfilogino Amicone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 22nd minute Gigel Bucur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Paim Belluci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Aguiar Farias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Anfilogino Amicone made a huge save. Alexandre Paz Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Anfilogino Amicone made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Aguiar Farias in the 36th minute of play forced Toronto Marlies FC's goalkeeper Anfilogino Amicone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heitor Paim Belluci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Bucur in the 44th minute of play. After 45 minutes Brazil's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tracy Narcisse who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Tracy Narcisse got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Heitor Paim Belluci quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gigel Bucur to strike the kick off in the second half. Toronto Marlies FC's attentive Tracy Narcisse managed to snatch the ball when Rafael Machado Cardoso made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Alexandre Paz Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brazil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 62 minutes into the match, Brazil's goalkeeper Heitor Paim Belluci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigel Bucur. After a defensive mix-up in Toronto Marlies FC's zone, Diogo Paim Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anfilogino Amicone came out of the goal and Diogo Paim Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toronto Marlies FC's Noel Hamlin was substituted for Fatsali Bedirhan. Brazil made a substitution. Renato Belluci Rosa replaced Adriano Macedo Sanches. When Brazil's Renato Pedroso Kimura in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toronto Marlies FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 77 played minutes Toronto Marlies FC got a freekick which was hit by Gigel Bucur. Anfilogino Amicone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Pedroso Kimura's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Renato Pedroso Kimura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anfilogino Amicone was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80thth minute of the game Renato Pedroso Kimura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toronto Marlies FC's Anfilogino Amicone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Toronto Marlies FC's Noel Hamlin got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Brazil booed when Toronto Marlies FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Hamlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, Brazil's Ivo Reis Quadros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anfilogino Amicone came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brazil reached it. In the 92nd match minute, Brazil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Barros Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Toronto Marlies FC's Gerard Pique quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Murilo Barros Rosa, made in the 95th minute of the game. Brazil were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
