Aaron Alcocer made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Wy-pas's Dominik Kasprzak. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wy-pas's Dominik Kasprzak. Wy-pas's Dominik Kasprzak quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 22nd minute of the game. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Wy-pas's Przemyslaw Raschke. Abel Carballo got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eliseo Noboa. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Konstanty Piechna made the kick off in the second half. Iwan Rekawiczka might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iwan Rekawiczka ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juliusz Poteralski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wy-pas were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Costa Rica to leave the ground with a draw.
