Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 3rd minute, but Lastur Murcia got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Girona FC hanging dry this time. Roman Gdaniec took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Gdaniec in the 8th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Maldonado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lastur Murcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Antonio Indiano hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Berkay Yetiş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Colombia booed when Girona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaizkine Babia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Girona FC's Roman Gdaniec got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Gdaniec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lastur Murcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Girona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Lastur Murcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Lastur Murcia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Gdaniec in the 39th minute of play. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Girona FC's David Palau was substituted for Roman Gdaniec.

Gaizkine Babia hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Palau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Palau in the 57th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lastur Murcia having to make a save. Lastur Murcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Girona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Lastur Murcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lastur Murcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Girona FC's Alfonso De Pedro was substituted for Berkay Yetiş. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Cazalla in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Girona FC's Gaizkine Babia. 78 minutes into the match, David Palau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Palau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Secada in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lastur Murcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Girona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but Lastur Murcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Girona FC's Lastur Murcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 86th minute of play. In the 95th minute David Palau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Girona FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Girona FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
