The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bobby Gyselincx was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bobby Gyselincx hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romon Oliver to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jamaica had won after a very even match.
