If Jarell Hill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's goalkeeper Wesley De Wever had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leron Sale. Jamaica's Finlay Stair got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 25 in the game by Finlay Stair from a close distance when the talented Wesley De Wever managed to make a qualified save. Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's players were relieved. Bobby Gyselincx lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Bobby Gyselincx hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarell Hill got free with Wesley De Wever in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jamaica's Jarell Hill in 37 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Wesley De Wever guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Wayan Freeman hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's Lucien Huijghens tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Romon Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Finlay Stair kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Teun Van Heurick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin got a freekick which was hit by Teun Van Heurick. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Smedts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica's zone, David Smedts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal and David Smedts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarell Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wesley De Wever stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Finlay Stair's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Dominic Colebrants kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Wesley De Wever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarell Hill in the 77th minute of play. When Dominic Colebrants fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's protests and gave Dominic Colebrants a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Karlus Waugh got a free kick in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the game, David Smedts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamaica the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's David Smedts got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Wayan Freeman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
