After some careless play in the Coriano FC defense, Abraham Alguacil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dino Cara. The Coriano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Cara should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th match minute, Coriano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Del Pizzo to maneuver through the defense. Dino Cara came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Cara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dave Toninelli kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th match minute, Coriano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Genta to maneuver through the defense. When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Christian Vieri sent off a good shot on target. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Coriano FC's Dave Toninelli got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 56 minutes, Fortunato Del Pizzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coriano FC and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute Emanuele Boccanera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the match, Christian Vieri notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Cara having to interfere. Dino Cara made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the game, Emanuele Boccanera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abraham Alguacil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dino Cara firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 84 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Coriano FC got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Del Pizzo. 92 minutes into the match, Coriano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Dino Cara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coriano FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Panama for a fine match.
