Petruț Gheorghe's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petruț Gheorghe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bolivia booed when FC Medicina Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petruț Gheorghe didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolae Penaru to strike the kick off in the second half. Joshua Miralles got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mario Fernandino. In the 62nd minute Eduard Melentie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Isac Plăcintă fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Medicina Bucuresti's protests and gave Isac Plăcintă a yellow card for diving instead. Eduard Melentie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dumitru Vâlcu during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Medicina Bucuresti's Dumitru Vâlcu got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Alfonso de la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bolivia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Medicina Bucuresti for a fine match.
