Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Van Linthout in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to BK Ugglan getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jim Kråk hit a great ball. Patrik Fagrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Patrik Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Ecuador's Agustín Saelices in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 38th match minute, BK Ugglan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Kråk to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Felix Montenegro. BK Ugglan's Patrik Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montes in the 44th minute of play. Jim Kråk hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Thomas Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Ugglan's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Sundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, BK Ugglan's goalkeeper Patrik Fagrell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The supporters of BK Ugglan booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, BK Ugglan's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sebastián Puig came free, but Patrik Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, BK Ugglan's Patrik Fagrell got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Van Linthout in the 72nd minute of the match. With his leg Patrik Fagrell managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Ecuador's Agustín Saelices fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. BK Ugglan's Wiktor Anselius was substituted for Henk Van Linthout. A collision led to BK Ugglan getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jim Kråk hit a great ball. Patrik Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
