Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Bartosz Komanski made a huge save. Bartosz Komanski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 11th minute of play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartosz Komanski having to interfere. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Facundo Cadaval dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bartosz Komanski, 1-1. After 22 played minutes Yara Poland got a freekick which was hit by Edward Szpakowski. Yara Poland's Bartosz Komanski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Yara Poland from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Fanøe came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ziemowit Borcz was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Yara Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Fanøe to maneuver through the defense. Bartosz Komanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yara Poland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Rouco getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Rouco in the 53rd minute of play forced Yara Poland's goalkeeper Bartosz Komanski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartosz Komanski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
