When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Jeremias Mark put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Donato Di Sipio kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Mark in the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Talenti Roma Calcio's Jeremias Mark ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jeremias Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christophe Rau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Mark in the 58th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Christophe Rau made a huge save. After 66 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Talenti Roma Calcio players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Talenti Roma Calcio booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Mark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Christophe Rau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
