The supporters of Peru booed when Bochin club La Palmera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xalbador Vigalondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Peru's Anthony Alvarado seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anthony Alvarado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Peru protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anthony Alvarado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Peru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bochin club La Palmera:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Bochin club La Palmera. Oliver Ekblom stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rolando Noboa. 0-1. In the 27th minute, Eliseo Mina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bochin club La Palmera's Dario Jacindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Bochin club La Palmera from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Eliseo Mina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru's Milagros Fraga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Erubiel Oihenarte, made in the 40th minute of the game. After 44 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Julian Murillo.

Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Xalbador Vigalondo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 84th minute of play forced Bochin club La Palmera's goalkeeper Dario Jacindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xalbador Vigalondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Bochin club La Palmera made a substitution. Jesus Bizi replaced Ciriaco Fernanco. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Erubiel Oihenarte got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Geronimo Johans. The Bochin club La Palmera players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
