In the 22ndth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DaLian MyLord FC's Neal Wakefield was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 尤远荣, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of play forced DaLian MyLord FC's goalkeeper Neal Wakefield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when DaLian MyLord FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. 周文政 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, DaLian MyLord FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 韩默沙 to maneuver through the defense. DaLian MyLord FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After 96 played minutes DaLian MyLord FC got a freekick which was hit by 高思岩. When the final whistle went the supporters of DaLian MyLord FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Mexico side.
