Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luca Postelnicescu started the match with the kick off. Fiori Mota made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Orlando Casaus sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mete Nared, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Fiori Mota however easily saved by the left post. 16 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Postelnicescu came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Nared in the 17th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Mete Nared ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Orlando Casaus came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fiori Mota could save by the left post. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Nared in the 22nd minute of play. Guilherme de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Luca Postelnicescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Nared in the 32nd minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Vila Nova FC's Mete Nared got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Orlando Casaus hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Postelnicescu came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Cléber Basso made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Vila Nova FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Mota having to interfere. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila Nova FC's goalkeeper Fiori Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego stood somewhat misplaced when Luca Postelnicescu came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 64 minute. The audience was convinced that Luca Postelnicescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fiori Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Nan Han came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vila Nova FC's Bálint Kerekes got a free kick in the 84th minute. Vila Nova FC's Mete Nared got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bálint Kerekes hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 94th minute of play.
