Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fiori Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 2nd minute. The goal made the score 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Vladimir Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fiori Mota could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Rubens Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Rubens Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Fiori Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Gerardo Pozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fiori Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila Nova FC's goalkeeper Fiori Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Postelnicescu in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Indiano hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Rubens Senna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Postelnicescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Lara came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Fiori Mota made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luca Postelnicescu was the one to do the kick off. Vila Nova FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rubens Senna took the corner. After taking down the ball on Vila Nova FC's corner Rubens Senna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Nova FC's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Mota came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mete Nared in the 60th minute. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mete Nared, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fiori Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 69th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Postelnicescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 74 in the game by Mete Nared from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila Nova FC's goalkeeper Fiori Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Lara in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. After 79 minutes, Vladimir Lara made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bálint Kerekes made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Pedro Indiano. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Nova FC's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Mota came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Luca Postelnicescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Cléber Basso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vila Nova FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. A collision led to Vila Nova FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cléber Basso hit a great ball. Chile were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
