Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Narcis Domide took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tym Tym's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Vlăsiu came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Cârneci in the 5th minute of play. If Victor Angelescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 minutes, Vintilă Vâlcu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tym Tym and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicodim Bacalbașa charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicodim Bacalbașa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicodim Bacalbașa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. George Cârneci took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Leonard Vlăsiu in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicodim Bacalbașa struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tym Tym. In the 31st minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Vlăsiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Vlăsiu having to interfere. Leonard Vlăsiu was a little too slow when Axel Tasis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 45th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Domide, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Angelescu in the 47th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Aron Baldu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victor Angelescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 54 minute of play. Victor Angelescu scored 1-4 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Tym Tym's Victor Angelescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narcis Domide received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Narcis Domide slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Angelescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicodim Bacalbașa kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Leonard Vlăsiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonard Vlăsiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Tym Tym could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
