After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Mieszko Mikulski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Mieszko Mikulski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Alfred Jestrimski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Beniamin Zdeb got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mieszko Mikulski went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sylwester Tamulewicz, 1-1. In the 37th minute, Ludomil Gregorczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Olgierd Hodas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Sylwester Tamulewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Gregorczyk came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludomil Gregorczyk to strike the kick off in the second half. Sylwester Tamulewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FA Sandtown's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylwester Tamulewicz came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sylwester Tamulewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute of the match. Sylwester Tamulewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FA Sandtown's goalie prevented a goal. Venezuela were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
