Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Tan kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Belém in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Diego Belém ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 9th minute Diego Belém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albirex Niigata FC's Amir Pieng got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Diego Belém's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Diego Belém ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Belém in the 26th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Belém went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amir Pieng in the 32nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 俞冰帆 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentín Carvallo made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Albirex Niigata FC's Polo Maldini. Diego Belém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Belém in the 45th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Belém in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Amir Pieng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Belém in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Diego Belém ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Diego Belém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 minutes of play, Albirex Niigata FC's Diego Belém made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christian Sancho made in the 73rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moises Tafalla immediately put the ball in play. After 74 played minutes Albirex Niigata FC got a freekick which was hit by Per Gross. 76 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's Diego Belém sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valentín Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Valentín Carvallo's late challenge caught a Albirex Niigata FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentín Carvallo helped the player get up and apologised. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Diego Belém sent off a good shot on target. If Amir Pieng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Amir Pieng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Diego Belém sent off a good shot on target. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. The Honduras supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Albirex Niigata FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Albirex Niigata FC.
