Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friedrich Reubold in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Friedrich Reubold got free with Julio Vera in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bastian Abel. FC Eisenberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Folko Meckelburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bastian Abel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Mirko Saßmannshausen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Eisenberg's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastian Abel came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirko Saßmannshausen in the 24th minute of the match. Mirko Saßmannshausen scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mirko Saßmannshausen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Felix Montenegro put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Bastian Abel. FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play. Folko Meckelburg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Friedrich Reubold managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Eisenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Friedrich Reubold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirko Saßmannshausen in the 41st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Bastian Abel however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 55th minute of play forced FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FC Eisenberg from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirko Saßmannshausen in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Bastian Abel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC Eisenberg from getting a goal against them. Friedrich Reubold took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Mirko Saßmannshausen put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirko Saßmannshausen in the 89th minute of play.
