Phil Porter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 16th minute of play. Martial Jay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Pere Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pere Montaña in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pere Montaña in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martial Jay in the 40th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. In the 47th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phil Porter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pere Montaña was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as FC LIVERPOOL's Pere Montaña slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 after 55 minutes of play. FC LIVERPOOL's 蒋永川 was substituted for Martial Jay. In the 59th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phil Porter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pere Montaña in the 69th minute. After 77 played minutes FC LIVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by Ursus Martin. 81 minutes into the match, FC LIVERPOOL's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Phil Porter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pere Montaña kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes in the game, 蒋永川 fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 蒋永川, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
