Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ekrem Sümeroğlu got the match started through his kick off. CemCeminay SK's Olov Zachrisson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 5th minute of play. Olov Zachrisson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Olov Zachrisson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Behlül Baloğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Behlül Baloğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Olov Zachrisson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olov Zachrisson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 19 minutes CemCeminay SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Zachrisson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Behlül Baloğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. Behlül Baloğlu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. CemCeminay SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 43rd minute of play forced CemCeminay SK's goalkeeper Olov Zachrisson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Zachrisson having to interfere. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Olov Zachrisson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. Ersan Tamay charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ersan Tamay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CemCeminay SK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Olov Zachrisson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, CemCeminay SK's Ersan Tamay got a free kick in the 58th minute. 65 minutes into the match, CemCeminay SK's goalkeeper Olov Zachrisson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. 67 minutes into the match, CemCeminay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Olov Zachrisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Alguacil, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Olov Zachrisson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekrem Sümeroğlu in the 74th minute of play. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 78 minutes, Behlül Baloğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CemCeminay SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behlül Baloğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olov Zachrisson made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of CemCeminay SK booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball.
