Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Nejat Alp Talayhan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hulki Kayrahan kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Başaran Ötüken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Başaran Ötüken was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Başaran Ötüken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Sezen Hidayet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Northern Lights's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Başaran Ötüken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Başaran Ötüken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The corner led Mexico's Facundo Cadaval to fire away a dangerous shot which Başaran Ötüken despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Başaran Ötüken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Northern Lights defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Başaran Ötüken. The Northern Lights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Başaran Ötüken should have stopped the shot. In the 30th match minute, Northern Lights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hulki Kayrahan to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Nejat Alp Talayhan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Mexico's Luca Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Başaran Ötüken made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özer Geçer in the 42nd minute. Luca Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Northern Lights's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Başaran Ötüken despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The attack was good, but when Lautaro Mancebo in the 48th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Facundo Cadaval struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Başaran Ötüken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Başaran Ötüken in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Northern Lights getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Necat Duha hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Joel Gaona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Northern Lights's Başaran Ötüken didn't even have to move. After 62 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Başaran Ötüken was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes, Hulki Kayrahan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Northern Lights and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başaran Ötüken having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Northern Lights got a freekick which was hit by Hulki Kayrahan. 78 minutes into the game, Savaşer Karar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northern Lights's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Northern Lights fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özer Geçer in the 87th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özer Geçer in the 92nd minute of play. In the 98th minute Özer Geçer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Northern Lights getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Necat Duha hit a great ball. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Northern Lights throughout the match.
