Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when XV de Piracicaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Fábio Montoia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Fábio Montoia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Gonzalo Jurdan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the game Murillo Trigo made a throw-in which Alexsandro Teles played forward. XV de Piracicaba's Gonzalo Jurdan got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fábio Montoia scored 3-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Murillo Trigo with Gonzalo Jurdan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alexsandro Teles struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XV de Piracicaba. In the 37th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fonso Zotillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Fábio Montoia managed to get in a good position for a shot. XV de Piracicaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Montoia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. During the 92nd minute of the match Wen Yong Sha completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wen Yong Sha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When the referee ended the match the XV de Piracicaba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
