Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loren Prats saved Pegaso from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Loren Prats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loren Prats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 19th minute of play. Pegaso's Loren Prats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Jairo Valery tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Pegaso defense, Eliseo Mina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loren Prats. The Pegaso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loren Prats should have stopped the shot. Loren Prats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milagros Fraga immediately put the ball in play. 47 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Loren Prats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Pegaso made a substitution. Mihail Pânzaru replaced Joaquin Havier. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Loren Prats made a huge save. After 59 played minutes Pegaso got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Tabor. Delmar Tabor hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Mihail Pânzaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Peru booed when Pegaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efren Dobale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Pânzaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Loren Prats made a huge save. Loren Prats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 82nd minute of play. After 89 minutes Pegaso's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Antonio Tenorio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Loren Prats quite easily take care of the ball. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Loren Prats made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Rafael Gallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loren Prats was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Pegaso's Loren Prats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Pegaso from getting a goal against them. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
