Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Filomeno Mendebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. In the 9th minute Filomeno Mendebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Horacio Abajas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Los Materos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Abajas couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lazaros Kabantais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The Los Materos FC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Los Materos FC's Filomeno Mendebal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Joshua Garrido hit a great ball. Igor Salvidor kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Los Materos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lazaros Kabantais having to make a save. Lazaros Kabantais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lazaros Kabantais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Lazaros Kabantais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Los Materos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Loup Villaume to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaros Kabantais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Materos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Los Materos FC's goalie and right to Luis Cazalla. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Los Materos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filomeno Mendebal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Los Materos FC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Molina. 58 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Lazaros Kabantais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Materos FC made a substitution. Braulio Milian replaced Horacio Abajas. After 66 minutes Los Materos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luis Cazalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lazaros Kabantais quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 69 minutes into the game, Tincho Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. 75 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Milian came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Los Materos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Diaz to maneuver through the defense. Lazaros Kabantais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 86th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Milian in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Braulio Milian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Tincho Palermo came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Materos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
