Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Charlie Bjurström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Bjurström in the 11th minute of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Joel Vallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute of the game Macos Graciani made a throw-in which Luca Zorita played forward. When Charlie Bjurström came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the DFP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Bjurström couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joel Vallengren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 27 played minutes DFP got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Martinsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Vallengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kennet Martinsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in DFP's zone, Luca Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Vallengren came out of the goal and Luca Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, DFP's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Joel Vallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 37th minute. Viktor Alebom hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, DFP's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Joel Vallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlie Bjurström's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charlie Bjurström helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes DFP got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Bjurström. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. DFP's Joel Vallengren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save DFP from getting a goal against them. If Stefano Lilipaly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Bjurström in the 56th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joel Vallengren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of DFP booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 75th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, DFP's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Joel Vallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Alberto Tafalla put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joel Vallengren. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joel Vallengren firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Joel Vallengren made a huge save. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
