The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Bruno Petrucci advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-3 in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Frederik Dams's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Oier in the 41st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lupi Grigi's Bianco Sforza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-4 after 72 minutes of play. The supporters of Lupi Grigi booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lupi Grigi's Concetto Marcelli was substituted for Teobaldo Cordarin. Chants of Lupi Grigi echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Mexico had held the ball for most of the match.
