In the 11th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Leiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, LEBEG Team's Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub. In the 34th minute, Tadas Eigirdas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Zapolski in the 36th minute of the match. Thiago Leiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Zapolski to strike the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Fabio Di Meo in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chile's Alan Tamayo. Thanks to some nice moves Orlando Casaus could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Thiago Leiva however easily saved by the left post. Mariano Lacasa made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that LEBEG Team's Thiago Leiva managed to reach the ball for a save.
