Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. Allan Hedman kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Pepsi FC's Sture Stensson. But to his dismay, Sture Stensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Qi Sha Zhen sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pepsi FC's Sture Stensson got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hu Sheng Nan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Christer Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Uno Wallander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Axel Tasis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christer Forsberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Károly Csorba hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Pepsi FC's Hu Sheng Nan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 37th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Károly Csorba sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sture Stensson to make the kick off. The supporters of Pepsi FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Sture Stensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Sture Stensson came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Károly Csorba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakarias Koch in the 75th minute of play. Pepsi FC's Anacleto Cutberto got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Forsberg having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Anacleto Cutberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Cutberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 95th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Pepsi FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
