Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Dane Friebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Gärsnäs BF booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gärsnäs BF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Emil Dahlberg hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Dane Friebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Wang Cheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gärsnäs BF were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dane Friebe took the corner. Tord Lang made a great header on Gärsnäs BF's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The throw-in from Eliseo Noboa in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gärsnäs BF's Tord Lang. In the 58th minute Frederick Griscti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, George Hägglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and George Hägglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Frederick Griscti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gärsnäs BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 64 minutes into the game, Aaron Alcocer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gärsnäs BF the free kick. After 64 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. After 70 minutes Gärsnäs BF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Frederick Griscti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Gärsnäs BF were the better team. Gärsnäs BF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
