Karol Pachucki's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, FC SZAFIRY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Augustyniak to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Giejda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janusz Giejda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC SZAFIRY's goalie prevented a goal. Janusz Giejda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Edward Dzerwucki threw the ball into play from the sideline. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, FC SZAFIRY's goalkeeper Janusz Giejda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. Karol Pachucki was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to FC SZAFIRY getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Karol Pachucki hit a great ball. Janusz Giejda came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. But to his dismay, Hector Covarrubias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. Dariusz Sitko hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 93 in the game by Jaime Pardo from a close distance when the talented Janusz Giejda managed to make a qualified save. FC SZAFIRY's players were relieved.
