The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcin Rekowski got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Radowit Gdaniec sent off a good shot on target. Karol Pachucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abram Luque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Giejda having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Lorenzo Yepes fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Lorenzo Yepes a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Salvador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ricardo Zorita, was totally fooled by FC SZAFIRY's Marcin Rekowski, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Janusz Giejda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes into the game, Mateo Leguizamo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SZAFIRY the free kick. After 46 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Leguizamo. Waclaw Mindykowski's shot from long distance in the 48th minute was not bad at all, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radowit Gdaniec in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute of the match Marcin Rekowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Janusz Giejda made a huge save. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Pachucki in the 64th minute of play. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Abram Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SZAFIRY the free kick. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Radowit Gdaniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 94th minute of the match Abram Luque completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Abram Luque a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
