Sören Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 19th minute of the match. Wargön's Sören Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 23rd minute of play. Eliseo Mina scored 1-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sören Tunberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Mina immediately put the ball in play. Wargön's Sören Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Sören Tunberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Buba in the 30th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wargön were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bayan Baye took the corner. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Mikael Liberatore sent off a good shot on target. Sören Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes Wargön's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sören Tunberg quite easily take care of the ball. Sören Tunberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. The throw-in from David Buhăescu in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Sören Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 55th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Artur Buba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Wargön's Nils-Arne Nilsson was substituted for Artur Buba. Wargön's Ivar Siöberg was substituted for Iwan Czeberowski. Mikael Liberatore struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wargön. In the 63rd minute of the game David Buhăescu made a throw-in which Mikael Liberatore played forward. Sören Tunberg made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Luz Tejedor sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Liberatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Liberatore in the 71st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milagros Fraga took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sören Tunberg. Wargön's Mikael Liberatore got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wargön! Alonso Berganza made in the 96th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Alcocer. 97 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Sören Tunberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
