After 14 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabrio Varlett, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Fikus came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachary Grunwalski struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elioszki. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jedrzej Bryk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Robert Nieruchliwy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robert Nieruchliwy really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 73rd minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Feliks Kowalski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 74 minute of play. Robert Nieruchliwy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jedrzej Bryk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Lizewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jedrzej Bryk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
