Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Venezuela's Jose Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alvin Bäckman, made in the 5th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Fred Hellqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 8th minute Per Forss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Hellqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Kumla BK's goalkeeper Fred Hellqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 18th minute, Per Forss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Peter Salqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kumla BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Kumla BK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Per Forss notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Forss in the 38th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calle Vester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Forss in the 47th minute of play.

Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Per Forss scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 0-3. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 58 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Hellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Peter Salqvist sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Per Forss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kumla BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Forss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Per Forss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kumla BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Forss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fred Hellqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Forss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 81st minute of play forced Kumla BK's goalkeeper Fred Hellqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fred Hellqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. David Östman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Hellqvist having to interfere. The Venezuela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kumla BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Kumla BK.
