In the 16th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18th play minutes Ciprian Eniceicu shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Radu Domide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of the match. If Ciprian Eniceicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Eniceicu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Milan Futuro's Ciprian Eniceicu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Emil Sângeorzan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-0. Milan Futuro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciprian Eniceicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cornel Daimacă made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sabin Macovei however managed to control. Ciprian Eniceicu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Ciprian Eniceicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

51 minutes into the match, Emil Sângeorzan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Sângeorzan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Radu Domide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute. The throw-in from Cornel Daimacă in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Eniceicu in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, Milan Futuro's Radu Domide got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Ciprian Eniceicu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milan Futuro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciprian Eniceicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ciprian Eniceicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Petru Aristide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciprian Eniceicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Milan Futuro had won after a very even match.
