After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Benny Benny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malins Nallebjörnar's supporters rose to their feet, but Benny Benny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benny Benny scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. El Salvador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Henry Forsberg 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Malins Nallebjörnar's Henry Forsberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 6-0 after 48 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Måns Berglund was the one to do the kick off. Henry Forsberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 61st minute Benny Benny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Forsberg's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Valentino Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Berglund in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Malins Nallebjörnar's Måns Berglund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. After 96th play minutes Måns Berglund shot 11-0, a short shot which went by Ricardo Zorita and just under the crossbar into goal. Malins Nallebjörnar's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
