Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th match minute, Mauk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Ramos to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ronaldo Paraíba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Ilmar Hein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Ronaldo Paraíba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mauk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A hard shot 22 in the game by Asko Põhjala from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. After 24 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Taavi Mahlaoks did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Benito Sanz 26 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ilmar Hein struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mauk. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asko Põhjala in the 36th minute. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilmar Hein went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Ronaldo Paraíba's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldo Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Mauk got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Paraíba. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 45th minute. Asko Põhjala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. After 60 minutes of play, Mauk's Hardo Talv made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Asko Põhjala's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ilmar Hein came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asko Põhjala in the 78th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Mauk's Hardo Talv. But to his dismay, Hardo Talv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 83rd minute, Taavi Mahlaoks made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asko Põhjala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lautaro Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asko Põhjala in the 93rd minute of play. Mauk walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
