Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ercüment Türeli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Lech Raschke made a huge save. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lech Raschke quite easily take care of the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Metehan Müftüoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Metehan Müftüoğlu was the one to do the kick off. Lech Raschke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Sebastián Puig during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 60 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 64 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Metehan Müftüoğlu took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Metehan Müftüoğlu in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Ercüment Türeli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metehan Müftüoğlu in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ALAÇATI FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
