Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Miltiadis Liakos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Miltiadis Liakos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Iakovos Perivolakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Iakovos Perivolakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iakovos Perivolakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. The supporters of IRAKLIS booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Iakovos Perivolakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Miltiadis Liakos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miltiadis Liakos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 35th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakovos Perivolakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iakovos Perivolakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miltiadis Liakos kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

IRAKLIS's Akakios Lyberopoulos was substituted for Alketas Kontodimos. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chinomso Zelarayan to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69thth minute of the game Chinomso Zelarayan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The IRAKLIS fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when IRAKLIS's Miltiadis Liakos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eustratios Papakrivos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miltiadis Liakos struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IRAKLIS. In the 85th minute, Miltiadis Liakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. After 93 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The supporters of IRAKLIS booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Miltiadis Liakos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
