Arkadiusz Traczewski took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Alberto Lazcano. Luis Alberto Lazcano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bairon Mateluna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Alberto Lazcano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haluk Özdil, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Aurelio Antonioletti quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Barnaba Czapski, made in the 18th minute of the game. In the 28th minute Haluk Özdil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Alberto Lazcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Mitschullen SSA's Haluk Özdil made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis Alberto Lazcano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Haluk Özdil came free, but Luis Alberto Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romildo Madrid to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mitschullen SSA booed when Club Deportes Santa Cruz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Antonioletti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Deportes Santa Cruz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. When Aurelio Antonioletti was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. After 65 played minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Antonioletti. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arkadiusz Traczewski got free with Luis Alberto Lazcano in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Arkadiusz Traczewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luis Alberto Lazcano made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Arkadiusz Traczewski sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportes Santa Cruz's zone, Arkadiusz Traczewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Alberto Lazcano came out of the goal and Arkadiusz Traczewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Club Deportes Santa Cruz booed when Mitschullen SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartlomiej Kisielka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Alberto Lazcano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Haluk Özdil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 87 minute of play. When Clemente Barros fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportes Santa Cruz's protests and gave Clemente Barros a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Arkadiusz Traczewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Alberto Lazcano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mitschullen SSA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
