The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Franciszek Pacholewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój and the Club Deportes Santa Cruz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ilkka Markkula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Jaruzelski, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój defense, Podador Raheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliks Chazon. The BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliks Chazon should have stopped the shot. Clemente Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Ilkka Markkula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Jaruzelski in the 23rd minute of play. In the 31st minute Podador Raheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Chazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Pacholewski to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Club Deportes Santa Cruz getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Podador Raheiro hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Romildo Madrid. Ilkka Markkula came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Sebastian Witek. But to his dismay, Sebastian Witek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 48 minutes into the match, Podador Raheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliks Chazon. BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Podador Raheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Jaruzelski was the one to do the kick off. Franciszek Pacholewski hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ilkka Markkula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Jaruzelski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Jaruzelski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilkka Markkula came out and tried to block the shot, but Igor Jaruzelski slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 64th minute. Podador Raheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliks Chazon having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Podador Raheiro made a precise shot to the right of Feliks Chazon. BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Feliks Chazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Podador Raheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Igor Jaruzelski fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's protests and gave Igor Jaruzelski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Jaruzelski to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes, Podador Raheiro made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Feliks Chazon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Feliks Chazon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Podador Raheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliks Chazon having to interfere.
