But to his dismay, Hüseyin Rahmi Toper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Yan Zhi Chuan was substituted for Podador Raheiro. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yan Zhi Chuan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Shi Yuan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Everardo Dodorol in the 55 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Quexal in the 58th minute of play forced Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goalkeeper Ilkka Markkula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
