With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peng Qi Chong in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Gelacio saved INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. Martyon Diehl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Gabrio's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Martyon Diehl made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Bartolo Gabrio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Qi Chong in the 9th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Romulo Gelacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Martyon Diehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boni Yarman in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Peng Qi Chong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Gelacio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With 21 minutes on the clock, Rodney Staple commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Astreix&ObelixSoccer! Astreix&ObelixSoccer:s Martyon Diehl showed great skill when he stopped Petros Mousa:s penalty. Peng Qi Chong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Gelacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Osvaldo Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ivo Viveiros in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Osvaldo Alvarenga. 34 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Peng Qi Chong came free, but Romulo Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sacha Lilley in the 35th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Jonathan Willetts got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 36 minutes into the match. Aaron Rambo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Gelacio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Rambo ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB booed when Astreix&ObelixSoccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Rambo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Gabrio to make the kick off. Felipe Orzaize received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romulo Gelacio came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Orzaize slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Astreix&ObelixSoccer's zone, Bartolo Gabrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyon Diehl came out of the goal and Bartolo Gabrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astreix&ObelixSoccer made a substitution. Dave Di Gregorio replaced Peng Qi Chong. Dave Di Gregorio succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Di Gregorio in the 69th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Romulo Gelacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. He Qiang hit a great ball. Astreix&ObelixSoccer made a substitution. Keith Backhouse replaced Cent Salomonsen. When Dave Di Gregorio came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave Di Gregorio couldn't finish the play. Boni Yarman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyon Diehl having to interfere. If Dave Di Gregorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Di Gregorio in the 87th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Romulo Gelacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Sacha Lilley got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Romulo Gelacio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Aaron Rambo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Rambo couldn't finish the play. Luis Advíncula's late challenge caught a Astreix&ObelixSoccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Advíncula helped the player get up and apologised. With his leg Romulo Gelacio managed to avoid a goal in the 98thth minute, when Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Dave Di Gregorio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Astreix&ObelixSoccer players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
